Push to zero
Overview
Bugaboo needed to highlight their commitment to sustainability. I was tasked with designing a visual identity and toolkit for their Sustainability platform ‘Push to Zero’ translating the strategy and ambitions into playful and impactful design.
Challenge
Many people are choosing to have fewer or no children due to climate concerns, while ironically children today are increasingly more aware of environmental impact, sometimes even more so than parents. Salterbaxter came up with a creative approach that reframed this narrative, turning children and parents into active participants in combating climate change.
Solution
Collaborating closely with Salterbaxter’s Head of Creative Strategy, I helped bring the name ‘Push to Zero’ to life. The identity was built around three pillars—Design to Reduce, Design to Reuse, and Design to Rebalance—represented by three playful, graphic shapes. I also developed a toolkit, ensuring the identity could be consistently applied across future sustainability communications.
Outcome
The project resulted in a vibrant, engaging identity that made Bugaboo’s sustainability strategy approachable and fun. The toolkit empowered the internal team to communicate the strategy effectively.
